StratusLIVE Debuts Next-Gen Online Workplace Giving Software

StratusLIVE, a provider of cloud-based fundraising and social CRM solutions to nonprofit organizations, released an enhanced version of StratusLIVE's online workplace giving software. StratusLIVE for Fundraisers is built on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform.

The Workplace Giving Portal lets donors make contributions from virtually any device, including smartphones and tablets, while delivering content rich, and engaging fundraising campaigns to donors, company officials said.It integrates with StratusLIVE for Fundraisers, and the new "shopping cart" style experience enables donors to create multiple types of gifts and pledges in a single transaction.

"Our clients asked for a modern, responsive user interface capable of running on all widely available devices for their workplace giving campaigns," said StratusLIVE CEO Jim Funari, in a statement. "They want the ability to personalize content and deploy new sites directly from their StratusLIVE for Fundraisers environment with full integration including campaign activities."

Warp 9 to Integrate Dynamics CRM for European Appliance Manufacturer

Mobile e-commerce and mobile solutions provider Warp 9 Inc. has been selected by European appliance maker Kalorik to integrate Microsoft Dynamics CRM to the company's e-commerce website.

"It is crucial for retailers and wholesalers to have their inventory, CRM, and other ERP systems integrated with their e-commerce platforms to communicate data and information in real-time," said Andrew Van Noy, CEO of Warp 9, in a statement. "This project is very complex in that we are providing real-time EDI and Microsoft Dynamics integration into the company's Magento-based website, making it a true enterprise e-commerce solution."

For Kalorik, this means more accurate inventory levels and shipping data on its website, greater communication of this data to its customers, and a reduction in management inefficiencies and overhead, Van Noy added.

Crimsonwing Implements Dynamics NAV at Insignia Cards Limited

Microsoft Gold partner Crimsonwing has implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV at Insignia, a high-end lifestyle management group in Malta.

Crimsonwing implemented a customized financial management module for day-to-day business operations at Insignia. This module handles account receivables and account payables transactions using the integration with the third party software, while posting to the general ledger according to rules defined in Dynamics NAV, company officials said.

The Dynamics NAV cash management functionality was further enhanced to meet SEPA Direct Debit and SEPA Credit Transfer layout and data regulations.  Additionally, the drawing of final accounts, dimensional analysis and other standard NAV 2013 functionality and reports also meet Insignia's needs, officials said.

Forceworks Rolls Out RapidStart for Dynamics CRM

Forceworks, a Microsoft Certified Cloud Deployment Partner, has launched a new program for Dynamics CRM Online that it calls RapidStart. With a focus on just the sales aspects of Dynamics CRM Online, RapidStart is aimed at getting organizations up and running very quickly on the parts of CRM that generate revenue, company officials said.

"We often see two types of situations - an organization that has tried to deploy CRM on their own and are not happy with their ROI, or one that has bitten off too much and are in a long-term development cycle with no ROI in sight," said Steve Mordue, CEO of Forceworks, in a statement.

The RapidStart program, at a fixed cost, concentrates on the Leads, Opportunities, Contacts and Accounts entities and Processes, which are the key sales components of Dynamics CRM Online. These entities and processes are customized to conform to an organization's best practices for sales success, according to company officials.

"The way I see it, is you have all the time in the world to deploy all sorts of other capabilities with CRM, but if CRM does not facilitate creating revenue, in a very short period of time, the entire project is doomed," Mordue said.
