The Dynamics AX SCOM Management Pack: Dynamics AX solution architect Henrik Marx Larsen wondered recently why the AX SCOM management pack is so rarely used, even when the client is already using SCOM (System Center Operations Manager).  As he explains:

"One of the key features of the SCOM management pack is the ability to automatically discover AOS instances and monitor their health including client availability. From within SCOM you can react to event log messages thrown by the AOS instance."
