Microsoft Dynamics Profile: It's an entrepreneur's life for first-time MVP Dmitry Katson

Dmitry KatsonSome six years ago, newly minted Microsoft Dynamics MVP Dmitry Katson, made a very farfetched prediction to a friend, who was an MVP at the time: In the not too distant future there will no longer be NAV customizations. Rather, there will only be extensions that can be easily installed and removed.

"At that moment, it seemed impossible," says Katson, owner of AirApps in St. Petersburg, Russia. "We didn't even have the technologies and the extension model. But now, six years later, we have AppSource for NAV (a.k.a., Business Central). Is it a miracle? No, it's a necessity. And what do I see as a necessity in the near future? It's artificial intelligence or smart apps."
