This is a great article and hits many of the most important points to consider. The last paragraph talks about establishing priorites for what functionality to include in a Phase-1 project. I've heard many consultants say things like "Lets make sure we get what you need to run the business for GoLive". This is Keep-It-Simple thinking, and has some merit - but I would encourage everyone to take the next step and say "What areas of the application can return the most value to your business".

Internal team or employees fear for loss for job shall not co-operate for implementation by not giving proper business needs to the consultants is one of the major factor issues.

Resistance to change is a normal response and one that is not being addressed in current ERP implementations. This will be a measure of the existing culture within the company, the level of employee engagement and the communications used to keep the employees informed as to what is happening. The key elements are to address the whys, why are we doing this and the whats in it for me. We all know what happens when we arent clear about whats happening and are sceptical of new initiatives,. Resistance often comes passively by just not using the system. You can train as much as you want but unless you have addressed these issues passive resistance will mean non compliance with the requests.
