Microsoft Reports Fourth Quarter Loss, Continued MBS and Dynamics Revenue Growth

Microsoft Corp. today announced quarterly revenue of $18.06 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2012, a 7% increase from the prior year period, but also reported its previously disclosed loss per share of $.06 due to a $6 billion write down on an earlier software acquisition.

Non-GAAP earnings were $0.73 per share, according to the company's earnings report.
