EMEA Dynamics Partners Voice Concern Over Regional Impact of Envision's Global Aim

March 18 2016

While Microsoft says it is thinking globally with its plans for April's Envision 2016 conference, Dynamics partners outside North America have been voicing concern about the impact of losing Microsoft's regional event presence.

"It is a real pity that EMEA Convergence will not take place anymore," one Dynamics partner based in Europe wrote recently in a recent private forum discussion with Microsoft.

I believe this is the same issue that Partners in the US are facing as well. Most do not see the purpose to purchase admission to a sales conference that does not really cover the Dynamics area very well. Over the years, even Convergence was loosing its purpose for many end users. If they want to have a sales conference that is their prerogative. However, having something for existing end users has more value in the long run.
