Dan Brown departs Microsoft Dynamics AX R&D team, Sri Srinivasan continues to lead as GM

Dan Brown, Microsoft

Dan Brown has reportedly left his role as general manager of R&D for Microsoft Dynamics AX. Multiple sources have confirmed Brown’s move away from the AX, the product that will soon be known as Dynamics 365 Enterprise Operations.

General manager Sri Srinivasan, who was already a leader of Dynamics ERP R&D with Brown, is now said to be alone in leading AX R&D with the role of GM for Dynamics 365 for Operations. He is now a peer of Microsoft Technical Fellow Mike Ehrenberg, and they both report to Corporate Vice President James Phillips.

A Microsoft spokesperson declined to comment on whether the change in roles had taken place.

Great Guy

Dan Brown is a great guy and I have very good memories of working with him on Dynamics NAV. He was there with us through rough times.

I wish him the best in his future career. Wherever he goes he will make other people happy.

Thanks Dan!
