Microsoft Emphasizes Simplicity, Innovation, and Value in Seeking to Expand Dynamics CRM’s Market Share

Microsoft Dynamics CRM isn't the top-selling CRM application, but it is the fastest growing among the top four, says Bill Patterson, group product manager for Dynamics CRM.

"We're in the top four and we're growing fastest," he says in an interview at Convergence 2010. "It's been an outstanding year for us, with double-digit growth."

And the introduction of Dynamics CRM 5, likely by the end of this year, will help growth even further, says Patterson. "It's the real thing," he says. "The focus is on simplicity, innovation, and value." As an example of the latter, he notes the introduction at Convergence 2010 of Dynamics CRM in 41 languages, plus "our solution accelerators for no additional charge. Our competitors charge for packages" with such add-ons.
