Dynamics AX Team Announces Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Compatibiltiy with AX 2009 SP1

The Microsoft Dynamics AX Sustained Engineering Team recently announced the compatibility of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 with Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1.

And that's good news for customers, said Joe Marcus, Director, Solution Architecture, Ideaca Knowledge Services Limited

"Knowing what SharePoint 2010 offers, I would say one of the benefits is the future-proofing of the stack," Marcus said.

Without this compatibility customers would be limited to SharePoint 2007, which means if they wanted to upgrade their infrastructure to SharePoint 2010 they wouldn't be able to do that for their implementations of AX 2009, Marcus said.

Remove Web modules & Quick lunch

Thank you for your article. Now, I can successfully upgrade EP from WSS3.0 to SharePoint 2010.

However, I'm new for EP & Role Center. In my Role Center (with SharePoint 2010), it show page like opening on browser that shows Web modules (on the top), Quick lunch (on the left). How can I remove them from Role Center Page?
