Many GP Customers Waiting for SP1 of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Despite Positive Feedback on Upgrades from Early Adopters

To upgrade or not to upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 was the question on the minds of some Dynamics GP customers at a recent online meeting of the GP User Group (GPUG).

"People tend to wait," said Frank Vukovits, the GPUG Program Coordinator. "What I hear once a new version of the software comes out is, let someone else take the arrows before you decide to jump in yourself. They usually wait for the first service pack to come out because maybe there might be some hotfixes or bugs that are corrected in that first service pack."

One Microsoft partner said although his company has had three new Dynamics GP 2010 implementations, which went smoothly, his current customers haven't started the upgrade process yet because they want to wait for SP1.
