Many distributors and manufacturers provide cable, lumber and other materials for their products that are cut at order entry. This functionality tracks and optimizes cuts, identifies proper shipping reel as needed by calculating length and gauge, manages and avoids duds, identifies customers and orders that cannot accept splits and must have an uncut single cable and will identify and calculate tips and ends to manage the length required for stripping and connection purposes. The Cut to Order Management solution enables these businesses to execute and deliver cable more efficiently and effectively. Built to augment and round out Dynamics AX technology, Cut to Order Management and can be implemented alone, as part of the Advanced Inventory ManagementTM module, or as a part of the total Advanced Supply Chain SoftwareTM for Microsoft Dynamics® AX suite.
