Stoneridge Software Releases Expensify Integration to Dynamics 365 on Microsoft AppSource
It's an undeniable truth that expense reports are a drag. But, if you're a Microsoft Dynamics 365 user and Expensify devotee, your work week just got a whole lot easier. Stoneridge Software has released Expensify for Microsoft Dynamics 365 to deliver more efficient processes and decrease time spent on month-end. Expensify for Dynamics 365 by Stoneridge Software is now available for download from Microsoft AppSource as an integration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Financials.
As a professional services consulting firm, Stoneridge continually looks for ways to increase efficiency and address the pain points of business functions. A business process frequently in need of improvement is the management of expense reports. Expensify is a popular expense reporting system, whose brand is built around "expense reports that don't suck." Using the Expensify integration eliminates spreadsheets, paper receipts, and manual processes while allowing for sophisticated approval workflows and manager controls. Stoneridge processes expense reports on a weekly basis and knows first-hand the amount of staff time and effort it takes. After realizing the ease and benefits of using Expensify, Stoneridge partnered with the expense reporting operation to build an integration to Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions. First, a team of Stoneridge developers and consultants built an Expensify integration for the company's internal use of Microsoft Dynamics AX. Since its company-wide adoption, both employees and the accounting team have been utilizing it with great success.
"As both developers and users of the integration, we've been extremely happy incorporating Expensify into our daily workflow," said Andrew Passanante, controller at Stoneridge Software. "Because of the increased speed of the import and reconciliation process, it's been a real time-saver for my team. Report submitters and managers alike have raved about how easy it is to use."
The Expensify for Dynamics 365 by Stoneridge Software integration is part of a suite of solutions. The first release is specific to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Financials software. Stoneridge is planning future releases of Expensify integrations for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017, and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
"Any time we can partner with an organization dedicated to helping the workforce save time, headaches and paper, it's a win-win," said David Barrett, Expensify founder. "We're excited Stoneridge Software has made it possible for Microsoft Dynamics 365 users to appreciate expense reports that don't suck."
