SalesPad names new CFO and COO, continuing growth trend

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Grand Rapids-based software company SalesPad today announced the addition of John Carrier as CFO and COO. Carrier brings his entrepreneurial passion and manufacturing and distribution expertise to the SalesPad team.

“I love the company culture here at SalesPad,” said Carrier. “I’m continually impressed by the product offerings. I would have loved using it in some of my other companies. I love how SalesPad is built around helping other companies radically grow their businesses. I look forward to helping support both our own and our customer’s growth.”

Prior to SalesPad, Carrier was the Executive Director of the Allendale-based non-profit Love INC, where he continues to serve as a board member. Carrier’s distribution experience stems from his 10-year tenure as President of Reid Supply, a global distributor of industrial supplies. Prior to his work with Reid Supply, he developed his expertise in the manufacturing world as President of Excellence Manufacturing, an automotive parts manufacturer. Carrier began his career as a CPA with Ernst & Young.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have someone of John's caliber on our team. John brings deep financial and operational expertise as well as 20 years of manufacturing and distribution leadership experience,” said Mike Biwer, SalesPad CEO. “He's lived in the shoes of our customers, which will be an immense help in delivering quantifiable value in every customer engagement."

Carrier graduated from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in 1989. He and Mary, his wife of 30 years, have four boys ranging from 17-26 years old. They enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities, including skiing, golfing, and scuba diving. Throughout his career, he has enjoyed working with teams to help grow and develop companies.
