Does Microsoft Dynamics GP Deliver One Version of the Truth to Your Organization?

June 23 2010

As more firms running Dynamics GP move past simply issuing financial statements and into business intelligence I hear the same request over and over: "we want one version of the truth". That's not really what people want of course. It's a way of saying that they want consistent answers to their questions. One Version of the Truth is provided by PrecisionPoint Business Warehouse for Dynamics (www.precision-point-com) without any technical knowledge required by the user. It's the only BI product certified by Microsoft for both NAV and AX and the most powerful way of analysing Dynamics databases by end-users without them having to involve IT departments and hours/days of configuring the reports they need. It's beauty from a user's perspective is that it automatically reconciles all ledgers so that sales, purchase or Inventory data are always reconciled to the GL and reconciling items instantly identified. Sales VP's and CFO's can now agree a fully-reconciled version of the numbers!
