Updates in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations October 2018 release that made users cheer at Summit 2018

October 23 2018

The October 2018 release of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations will add a broad range of updates across finance, supply chain, and user experience. But across all of those areas and dozens of new and improved features, only one pair of enhancements generated applause from a user audience at AXUG/D365UG Summit 2018 last week.

Personalization and productivity

The D365FO team will be deploying a new grid control that will boost performance by pre-loading entire grid datasets onto the client.

I have the new version of D365FO 8.1 fall release installed and nothing to be seen for the revenue recognition as per this article. Is this function supposed to be fully available in this release as per the video on the Armanino website?
