Sonoma Partners Seeks Smarter Mobile Sales Capabilities for Microsoft Dynamics CRM with New iPad App

If there's one thing most Microsoft Dynamic CRM customers would like out of their investment, chance are it is some kind of improved sales performance.  And with the proliferation of tablet devices, and especially the iPad, it seems logical that today's mobile sales force should be walking into prospects and clients fully armed with the latest product and service data at all times.

But that's not always the case, and in fact the basic capabilities of Dynamics CRM can fall short of the ideal experience.  The result is a sales force that still carries an bulky mix of online and offline collateral.

Sonoma Partners, never an organization to sit on its haunches, has launched its Mobile Sales Kit, a set of custom build IP for the Apple iPad that adds mobile and document management capabilities to the field sales team with the aim of  replacing the stacks of collateral a salesperson has to carry on a typical visit.

Sonoma's Mobile Sales Kit, developed for companies with "far-flung" sales forces, is designed to reduces printing costs and enhances sales presentations, allowing sales representatives to close more business, according to company officials. The app's interface is customizable, from the graphics and color scheme to animations, screen transitions and even multi-touch gestures, officials said.

Sonoma Partners principal Mike Snyder said his company is using the Mobile Sales Kit App internally, and a couple of the company's clients are also in the process of implementing it.
