SBS Group Teams with I.B.I.S. on Advanced Supply Chain Software for Microsoft Dynamics AX

I.B.I.S. Inc., a Sonata Software Company and SBS Group have teamed up to market Advanced Supply Chain Software (ASCS) for Microsoft Dynamics AX.

SBS Group decided to partner with I.B.I.S. to offer ASCS to provide its distribution clients an industry-specific, end-to-end ERP product with advanced supply chain functionality, according to officials of the companies.

"Adding ASCS to our growing portfolio of AXIO solutions for Dynamics AX enables SBS to bring world class distribution software capabilities to companies who previously thought such a solution was beyond their reach," said James Bowman, SBS Group CEO and president, in a statement.

Built on Microsoft technology, Advanced Supply Chain Software by I.B.I.S. gives the Dynamics AX platform enhanced supply chain velocity, and allows users to exceed the expectations of their customers as well as increase their profitability, officials stated.

Dominic Telaro, VP of Industry Solutions for SBS Group, stated that ASCS is the only solution for industrial distribution and manufacturing.

"From all my years in the industry there is finally a solution for Microsoft Dynamics AX that has the breadth and depth required to truly manage the industry's processes and deliver on planned margins," Telaro said in the statement. Telaro also helped bring the I.B.I.S. supply chain solution to market several years ago, when he worked at the company.
