NAV-X Announces its Distribution Solution, Built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV

NAV-X LLC has released a new Microsoft Dynamics NAV-based solution for wholesale distributors. The release comes through a non-exclusive industry relationship between Microsoft Corp. and NAV-X, according to the company. NAV-X offers a complete all-in-one distribution and warehouse management software solution.

"NAV-X LLC has combined Microsoft technology platforms - Microsoft SQL Server, SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics NAV - with a vertically focused, aggregated ISV solution, to deliver a progressive software solution for distributors," said David Willis, Vice President U.S. Microsoft Dynamics, in a statement.

Willis acknowledges that NAV-X LLC is "authorized" to deliver Microsoft Dynamics to companies in the advanced distribution space.

With NAV-X, mid-market distributors get one product that delivers an advanced distribution and warehouse management solution that integrates in real time into financial reporting and analytics, in one centralized product, according to the company. 

NAV-X offers distributors forecasting and replenishment features as well as trade spend management. It also optimizes pricing and promotions to help distributors save money and be more competitive, company officials said.  The product is geared toward multiple industries, including consumer packaged goods, chemicals, wholesale distribution, life sciences, automotive and industrial.

"NAV-X offers distributors impressive functionality and extensive analytic capabilities on one of the most stable platforms currently available," said David Hutchinson, VP R&D at NAV-X, in a statement. "Considering the comparatively low price point for an industry specific solution and the extent of rich features available, distribution companies should definitely be looking to capitalize on this opportunity. A solution like NAV-X drives real benefit to mid-market distributors."
