Microsoft readies Parature 15.2 content as Dynamics CRM Spring 2015 release wave continues

Parature became available through Microsoft Online Service in January 2015, marking an important step in the team's integration into Microsoft. As part of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Spring 2015 release wave, the Virginia-based Parature team is now readying a new release, Parature 15.2 (it had been codenamed ATRIA on the broader CRM roadmap) and the team announced the availability of new documentation for the release, which is expected early this week following the release of Social Engagement last week.

The new Parature release adds long awaited "omni-portal" capabilities, which now are referred to as unified portal. Unified portal is considered a significant enhancement for larger organizations with multiple customer service desks that need the ability to all work under a single Parature instance.

The new release also provides support for more than 40 languages in the unified portal and adds enhanced multilingual support to translate and search knowledgebase articles, live chat sessions, and support portal pages in real time.

The new Parature release arrives a few weeks before the expected release of the Spring '15 release for CRM Online, also known as CRM 2015 Update 1. The new release of CRM Online will support integration of Parature knowledge base articles into CRM's service-related entities including the Case entity.
