RITE Merges with Retail Automation

Microsoft Dynamics retail partners Retail Information Technology Enterprises (RITE) and Retail Automation Systems (RAS) have joined forces to provide end-to-end retail software, hardware and IT services to the global retail industry.

Under RITE's logo, the new company will serve all retailers including department stores, fashion, sporting goods and teams, electronics, toys, museums, pet stores, and wholesale and retail beer, wine and liquor, according to company officials. RITE officials also say it will soon get a "rare" certification in Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail. Retail Realm's AX Alliance extends these disciplines internationally.

The company will provide Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS), RMS NextGen, and Retalon predictive analytics software to speed checkout lines, slash inventory and purchasing times, and streamline back-office tasks to enhance ROI, according to officials. It will also provide Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail.

All products and services will be sold directly to retailers, through the Microsoft Partner Channel, and internationally through Retail Realm's AX Alliance, officials said.

Driving Force Software Accepted as Socius Affiliate in Microsoft Dynamics Master VAR Program

Socius, a business management solutions provider and a Microsoft Dynamics Master VAR, has expanded its national Affiliate network by accepting Driving Force Software, a Microsoft Dynamics GP practice based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Driving Force Software (DFS) has been providing IT solutions to businesses in the Atlanta, Georgia area for over 25 years. In addition to Dynamics GP solutions, DFS also provides network and hardware systems building and security services, according to company officials..

Columbus Enters Strategic Alliance with ZAP

Columbus, a provider of Microsoft Dynamics ERP, MRP and CRM solutions for the mid-market and enterprise space, has teamed up with business intelligence provider ZAP.

The move will enhance Columbus' offering by enabling enterprise Microsoft Dynamics AX, NAV and CRM customers to extract value from their ERP and CRM investment, according to company officials. ZAP will work with Columbus to provide content for specific verticals such as food, industrial equipment and automotive manufacturing, officials said.

"ZAP provides Columbus the ability to prototype a customer's expected outcomes in hours and supports our need for repeatable, robust industry solutions. We have standardized on ZAP as our go-to BI solution of choice, specifically for our manufacturing and automotive customers," said Mark Labelle, SVP of Sales Operations at Columbus US, in a statement.

Ignify Takes JWC Environmental Live on Microsoft Dynamics CRM

JWC Environmental Muffin MonsterIgnify has announced that its client JWC Environmental is now live on Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

JWC Environmental invented the first dual-shafted waste grinder and eventually named it the Muffin Monster.

Before implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the company was not using use a formal customer relationship management system. Rather it was saving records of leads and opportunities on paper and in Microsoft Access databases. But that meant there were problems such as lack of collaboration, duplicate information records, and ineffective tracking of follow-up sales activities, according to officials.

"Prior to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, our team had a fragmented view of the business and ended up spending considerable time in assimilating information rather than acting on it," said Jim Gressang, IT Manager for JWC Environmental, in a statement. "With Microsoft Dynamics CRM, our team gains a consolidated view of customer and prospect information as it relates to each individual's role, allowing us to collaborate and prioritize more effectively and thus achieve greater sales results."

With Dynamics CRM JWC Environmental can cut to the chase and quickly design and implement shredder and screen solutions for their customers, according to Bhavesh Ashani, Vice President of Customer Satisfaction at Ignify.

Ciklum Launches Microsoft Dynamics Unit

Ciklum, a European providers of software development outsourcing and agile IT consulting services has taken over Celenia Europe's activities and has launched Ciklum Dynamics, a new department that will service clients with needs for ERP business software solutions.

Ciklum Dynamics will work exclusively with consultants for Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Ciklum Dynamics will add ERP business development capabilities to its portfolio and will also offer a wide range of add-ons and components to all clients working with MS Dynamics technologies, according to officials.
