Microsoft Dynamics GP MVP Mark Polino Joins Fastpath

Another prominent Microsoft Dynamics GP MVP has left the consulting ranks to join an independent software vendor (ISV). Long time GP MVP (now "Business Solutions" MVP) Mark Polino has joined security, compliance, and risk management firm Fastpath as its new director of client services.

The move from GP services delivery to ISV operations is not an overwhelming change, Polino explained. He has worked with Fastpath - both as a customer and as an implementer of GP - for many years and knows the team well.

"The change gives me the opportunity to work with a broader selection of ERP packages and sharpen my internal control skills, without completely leaving the GP community," he wrote on his blog.

The announcement comes just after Mariano Gomez, another GP MVP, left the services world for an ISV position.

In his new role, Mark will work with Fastpath customers on support, implementation, and other areas, the company stated. And Polino tells us his writing will not end with the new job, either on his blog, in his works of fiction, or (we hope) with select online business publications.
