The Microsoft Dynamics AX opportunity in Turkey: An interview with Banu Salbacak of Kaya Consulting

Netherlands-based Kaya Consulting recently opened its doors to the Turkish market. The new company, Kaya Consulting Turkey, offers more than consulting services, it also provides courses in Microsoft Dynamics AX in Turkish for a number of customers.

In a blog post, managing director Banu Salbacak explains that "broad experience, huge support and hard work" led her and her colleagues to establish a branch of the company in a foreign country.

"This required concentration, observation, analysis, patience and decisiveness," she said. 15 years of expertise within ERP systems and working for an open-minded company were the right ingredients to establish Kaya Consulting Turkey."

MSDynamicsworld.com asked Salbacak a few questions about the new office, the Turkish business climate, and her involvement in the company?

MSDW: Can you give us some background on your professional history that led to forming Kaya Consulting Turkey?

Banu Salbacak: I have 15 years experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Dynamics CRM and Dynamics AX as developer. I did work for different projects in different positions and I saw a lot of change in this market and I saw how ERP was growing.

Then Kaya Consulting came up with the globalization idea. I was the perfect candidate to do the research because of my Turkish roots and because of my desire to be the director of a new company.
