Microsoft Dynamics AX MVP Brandon George takes leadership role at Hillstar Business Solutions

Microsoft MVP and veteran Dynamics AX solution architect Brandon George has been named President of Hillstar Business Solutions for the Americas region. The new role redoubles George's focus on business intelligence and reporting solutions and services for the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem, an area he has evangelized on for many years as part of a broader role focused primarily on delivering Dynamics AX solutions.  

We caught up with George this week to learn more about the new role and his outlook on BI in the Microsoft Dynamics space.

MSDW: What are some unique challenges you are taking on compared to your previous role?

George: In my previous role the focus was more on supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP, with a secondary focus on Business Intelligence. In my new role, the sole focus is business intelligence and analytics from Hillstar. With this comes the new challenge of not just focusing on Microsoft Dynamics AX, but now all Microsoft Dynamics ERP, CRM, and Retail systems. Further, taking advantage of the 100+ customers that we have at Hillstar for BI already means that the value-driven business intelligence strategy has a strong and proven foundation.

At the same time, this means a heavier focus around specific domains and being able to truly turn customers' data into action oriented insights, while mentoring and growing a pipeline of professionals that purely focus on intelligence and analytics.
