Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU8 now available

The next round of improvements for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 are now available, the company announced.

AX 2012 R3 Cumulative Update 8 (CU8) introduces new features, hotfixes, and country specific updates.  

As Microsoft representatives revealed at Convergence 2014 Europe, AX 2012 R3 CU8 will include streamlined warehouse and transportation operations, Microsoft platform support for Visual Studio 2013, and extended language support for mobile. And a new Point-of-Sales client for Windows tablets and phones can run on Windows 10, as well as on both tablet and smartphone sized devices.

More information on CU8 issues is available via Lifecycle Services (LCS). LCS has also continued to see updates, including support for project management methodologies, TFS integration, SharePoint integration, Azure provisioning, and more sophisticated data migration and import/export tools.
