MetraTech’s Metanga Monetizes InfoGin’s Mobile Cloud Service, with Continued Focus on CRM Integration

MetraTech Corp., a provider of agreements-based billing and compensation solutions, has announced that Metanga, its multi-tenant, cloud-based billing application, will monetize InfoGin's new mobile cloud service, called GinWiz.

Metanga, an Azure-native monetization or billing system, supports high-volume calculations, subscription charges, automated closing, bill creation, dynamic reporting, customer support, notification emails, and online bill presentment.  MetraTech aims to use Matanga to simplify the GinWiz monetization processes so business owners can quickly enroll and improve their mobile experiences, according to company officials.

And they also see growing opportunity to add value by integrating Microsoft Dynamics CRM - among other systems - to the growing base of mobile sales tools.

"We're a monetization platform specifically aimed at the Microsoft ecosystem," says Curt Raffi, product marketing director at Metratech. "Every ISV that Microsoft is working with that's trying to move to the cloud needs to figure out how to make money do it. So we're talking with them about everything from order entry and maintenance of those accounts, to billing from those accounts and giving those accounts self service. Our SaaS solution is getting plugged into a lot of new plays moving to the cloud and trying to sell stuff."

The fact is that larger enterprises are moving to the cloud, and they have a new need, Raffi said.

"They have an in-the-field sales force and an online channel, so the CRM solution has customers coming in from the web and through the sales force," he said. "Today, rationalizing those requires monetization or a billing system to play intimately with CRM.
