GP Technical Airlift 2013 ready to kick off with roadmap update

After a day of training activities, the Microsoft Dynamics GP Technical Airlift 2013 kicks off today in Fargo. What's everyone looking forward too?

Putting aside the promise of one or more big announcements on Friday, the next three days at the Microsoft campus promise attendees access to the Dynamics GP development team and a mix of developer, implementer, and pre-sales sessions. The event is also becoming one of only two official outlets for the latest product direction, something Microsoft told us it will start becoming more disciplined about to help manage its messaging to the community.  

Wednesday's keynote will highlight the just-released GP 2013 SP2 and the Statement of Direction.  With SP2, the GP 2013 web client is now more full-featured, offering Microsoft the opportunity to start pushing its value and best practices to partners, many of whom have been hesitant to adopt it thus far.  Thursday's keynote will highlight Microsoft's vision and plans for Windows 8 apps, including what could potentially be done in the future with GP.
