2015 was an ambitious year for Microsoft Dynamics CRM as interests ranging from partners and customers to the Office and Azure offerings angled for attention. Along the way the team changed leaders, picked up a few companies, and continued to raise its profile within the company.

We've gathered together eleven CRM-specific stories (plus a few extras) that MSDynamicsWorld.com readers found most interesting in 2015. Singh Steps Into Microsoft Dynamics CRM Leadership Role, Stutz Heads to Salesforce (November 17, 2015)

When news broke that Bob Stutz was departing Microsoft, the only bigger surprise was that he was heading to Salesforce to lead their Analytics Cloud.

While we don't know the specifics of how Stutz's engineered the transition, it was not the best kept secret in the industry. At least some CRM industry analysts seemed to have advanced warning, and Dynamics channel insiders had reported rumors about Stutz's long term dissatisfaction with Microsoft executive leadership, both before and after the dissolution of MBS.

The timing of Stutz's departure and the ascendance of Jujhar Singh seems to have been minimally disruptive. The initial release of Dynamics CRM 2016 was mostly complete, and Singh only had to move up one notch in the organization, without any real rivals to fend off.
