Dell is expanding its portfolio of cloud business apps by introducing Dell Integration Packs-a point-to-point integration solution designed to automatically sync critical data between popular software applications.

The pre-configured Integration Packs, developed using Dell Boomi integration technology, will include an integration between Microsoft Dynamics GP and Salesforce CRM, as well as another for Intuit Quickbooks and Salesforce.  The pre-built integrations will focus on business needs like improving order accuracy, eliminating manual data re-entry between systems, and accelerating quote-to-cash cycles, according to company officials.

For example, recently closed opportunities in Salesforce CRM automatically trigger the creation of sales orders and invoices in QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics GP, and that helps eliminate time the time it takes to manually enter data on orders invoices, which speeds up billing, officials said.

Dell Integration Packs for Intuit QuickBooks and Dynamics GP are priced at $65 per month for unlimited users with an annual subscription. The integration for QuickBooks desktop edition is available now, while Dynamics GP integration will be available in June, according to the company.

Integration Packs are designed to be installed quickly with a wizard interface, meaning no need for expensive professional services, according to company officials.

"Our customers tell us integration is a core requirement to successful adoption of cloud applications," said Paulette Altmaier, vice president and general manager, Dell Cloud Business Software, in a statement.
