Business Intelligence solution provider ZAP becomes newest Microsoft Dynamics Global ISV

Microsoft has named business intelligence (BI) solution provider ZAP as its newest Global ISV (GISV) for Microsoft Dynamics, the companies announced today.

GISV status gives vendors a unique designation in the Dynamics channel, and ZAP's designation is notable in the highly competitive BI and reporting landscape. Typically, the program offers the participating vendor better access to major opportunities around the globe with both Microsoft and global system integrators. It also usually lays out financial commitments for the vendor.

As a GISV, ZAP will be re-launching its own partner and ISV programs "to provide better financial outcomes for those partners serious about building Business Intelligence competencies within their business for their customers," said ZAP president Garth D. Laird.

In June, Microsoft made another notable selection in a competitive niche when it named CWR Mobility as its mobile solutions GISV for Microsoft Dynamics. And in December 2013 Microsoft named ReadSoft as a GISV for AP automation for Dynamics AX.
