Business intelligence software provider PrecisionPoint has inked a deal with Armanino LLP making the accounting and business consulting firm its exclusive North American distributor.

As part of the agreement, PrecisionPoint's North American staff will be joining the Armanino consulting team effective immediately. Armanino will also be adding PrecisionPoint's Kansas office as part of the agreement. The two companies have worked together for the past three years.

The rest of PrecisionPoint's business is unaffected by the deal, according to company CEO Mike Evans.

"Armanino are much better placed to scale the North American business than PrecisionPoint Software," says Evans.

Based on the US west coast, Armanino but has built up a national Dynamics AX and BI practice with offices in California, Kansas, Washington, Illinois, and Oregon.

Evans explained that existing PrecisionPoint clients can maintain their partner relationships but Armanino's PrecisionPoint team will take on front-line support for the product in North America. Further, PrecisionPoint clients will now have access to Armanino's consulting IT and cloud solutions including Dynamics AX, GP and CRM consulting, training and implementation.

"We built our successful Dynamic Insights all-in-one reporting and analysis solution by incorporating the PrecisionPoint data warehouse and are excited to offer it to the universe of Microsoft Dynamics users throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico," said Tom Mescall, partner in charge of consulting at Armanino, in a statement.
