To help improve the efficiency of the sales team, Cognex wanted to give the salesforce greater reporting capabilities so reps and their managers could better assess sales results and facilitate the closing of additional business. To achieve this mission, Cognex needed to consolidate Microsoft Excel data and data from an Oracle PeopleSoft ERP platform into their Dynamics CRM platform. Doing so would allow sales to access the required information without logging into the ERP platform.
