Jeffrey Porter heads up business development for RockySoft and has been with the company since its inception in 1999. He has a B.S. in Engineering and MBA from Colorado State University. He has over 25 years of hands on experience developing solutions and processes for inventory management within the distribution and manufacturing industries.

Jeffrey joined Andersen Consulting in 1987 as a systems consultant until the early '90s. He has nine years of experience as a manufacturing development Engineer at Hewlett-Packard (HP). During his tenure at HP he served as a project leader of numerous supply chain enhancements for material distribution and manufacturing entities within the Test and Measurement division. Among his major accomplishments was his leadership of the development and implementation of a Strategic Inventory Placement Application for HP. The application was based on scientific methods for establishing stocking levels in the supply chain to buffer against demand and supply variability. 

Jeffrey continues to leverage his supply chain foundation and experience by teaching RockySoft's Inventory Management Workshop, and staying involved in the functional development of RockySoft's applications and training.
